Exciting Writing was published by Sage in 2006. It was the winner of the United Kingdom Literacy Association (UKLA) Author Award in 2007. The book contains creative ideas for teachers to enhance literacy in the classroom. It was based on Jacqui’s classroom experiences with tried and tested ways to engage primary school children in writing activities across the curriculum.

Other teaching ideas were published in The Times Educational Supplement and may still be available on the teaching resources website.
