Jan of JL Harland attended an enjoyable and lively online book launch on 23rd September of Alis Hawkins’ new novel, Those Who Know, third in the Teifi Valley Coroner series. The event was hosted by Independent Bookshop of the Year 2020, Bookish.

Book blogger Amy Williams (Tomes at Tea) interviewed Alis and the conversation ranged across Alis’ writing method, her path to publication and discussion of the Teifi Valley Coroner series as a whole. Although a different sort of event from live book launches we’ve attended, there was a similar buzz in the discussion between Alice and Amy and lots of interested questions from the online audience. A bonus was the sound of rain hitting the kitchen window. No need to get soaked!
